10:30 | Truth 🖤 . “Do it with love, and never for love.” Xo- Self . 12 hours sitting in Triage for the Emergency Dept. you stay seated, listen, and observe. . No matter what chaos surrounds you, the decision you make on the severity of this individual’s physical and emotional state is solely on you. There is no magical rewind, no filter, no before and after comparison, and/or guarantee “how will this patient look 50 years from now” button to help you determine your call. . Stakeholders all around and guess what? That person with beautiful skin tones, a Starbucks cup in hand & regular respirations screaming at you for not caring for them as they are dying may never come to the awareness of their ⁉️ interactions with you. (Reality 101) . Why pursue a relationship, forgive people, care for a dog with metastatic cancer, take your mom to her appointments on your day off, start a new job where criticism is inevitable, stay active and care for your body, or even post it here on social media? . Why do you care? . This was the why that relaxed every muscle in my face and melted my heart. I do it with love and not for love. . What makes you do the things you do? Where do you get to exchange that simple good good love?

22:05 | Do you ever miss different stages of your life? . Found myself missing music, rehearsals, performing, sound checks, flights, overnight recording sessions, back up dancers, my outfits separated in ziplock bags, labeled hair extensions. . Music makes me so happy! Nite nite friends! I hope you had a super sweet Friday.
22:40| Do you see me? . I see me. . I finally deep rooted and vulnerably see me. My mom has always told me since I was a little girl to try not to smile so big especially with your mouth open. (Not very lady-like). . Clearly, I am no good with such specific instructions. . I am great at being me. #tbt to an evening meeting various physicians of unique specialities, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, entrepreneurs, philanthropists, and soon to be healthcare practitioners. . It could have been a scary experience but instead, like everything in life... dialogue, time, and genuine interest is of essence. . Every single day I get people questioning how is a nurse a doctor and is a doctor like, just a PhD? Of course, I smile and respond,”not exactly.” . But the funny thing is, you attempt to answer questions to the individuals who are completely unaware and they aren’t even looking or listening. . If this is you, google it on your own and figure it out. Or, see me as I am and if and when you are truly curious about my accolades and my passion for life we can then celebrate sharing our wins in life together. . I’ll tell you this... people will flow in and out of your life and this motion is a wonderful experience. We all have an entry point for pure genuine love and it takes a brave one to demonstrate patience & choose to align with the cream of the crop! . Ps... every individual you see pictured above is a human, one who has worked extremely hard to take care of other humans just like you. Beautiful incredibly talented people!
